Rochelle Goyle

It’s been a while since I’ve made a blog post because I’ve been completely busy with projects and such, all will be revealed in time ;). But during my spare time, with my ventures around London, I’ve been keeping an eye out for those cult things that I like! I’ve still been keeping track of Monster High and look what caught my eye! Now I know the last time I spoke about her I said she wasn’t all that special but I kinda take my words back :P.

My first impressions of the doll was that she appears quite dainty, with soft colours contrasting the cold colours.

When I opened her, I really felt that the blues and pinks gave personality to her design. When you look closely at her skin, she has tiny markings to add a stony effect to the grey skin. She has detachable wings and ears on the top of her head with two different styled earrings, the right earring dangles whilst the left earring is a fleur de lis stud to go with her cute tiara. I really like her animal like face and eyebrows! Her eyebrows are thick but curved and it makes her look so puppy eyed and innocent. To me, the skirt looks inspired by stained glass windows and the metallic design slightly changes colour when it reflects light. MY FAVOURITE part of the doll are the shoes and socks! I now own Frankie and Rochelle.

I am quite picky when it comes to the Monster High dolls, I like the ones with interesting designs and cute details such as Lagoona Blue which I have been hunting down and it is so hard to find! I would only purchase the dolls if they’re in their default outfit, I’m not much of a fan when it comes to dolls in a “such and such” event outfit unless I’m really wow’d by it. I would purchase Ghoulia Yelps and Abbey Bominable purely because their webisode personalities make me laugh! My next purchase will be in August because that’s when Venus Mcflytrap will be released and I AM VERY SURE it will sell quickly like Lagoona Blue, her design is very impresive!
